A cold but clear morning greeted us at the park. The perfect day to start our hot tea service. Thanks to those who initiated the suggestion and to everybody who contributed to our new hot tea thermos.

We had a large volunteer team for setup. Special thanks for equipment delivery from the Szelag's with Olga Szelag staying on as Token Scanner and Aleksander Szelag supporting Dorota Sierecka as photographers and Lukasz Smogorowski as a videographer! You can see his video footage on the Pole Mokotowskie Facebook page. Edyta Stojek braved tho cold during setup to put out our direction arrows. Kasia Lech greeted our first timers and visitors. We also had Marek Szpanowski as our Time Keeper and Krzysztof Bukowski smiling on Tokens. We can never forget our Tailwalker sweeping along the course, a big thanks to Piotr Wieckowski.

We had 11 first timers at the event and 9 visitors from other parkruns. Three visitors from polish parkruns, four visitors from the UK, and a couple from the US who are in their 15th month of traveling around the world (they volunteered at the last parkrun they visited!!!). All in all, 51 runners took the field and pit their hearts on the line. Memories were made. Friendships were started. We hope to see you next week for a special holiday parkrun.
PS Final thanks to Agnieszka Rafinska for taking over Instagram duties for the week. Some very inspirational quotes to go along with great photos.
